I&#039;ve been conducting a semi-controlled experiment by asking different technology-savvy groups how they describe Twitter to other people.

Nathan Rome pointed me to your post, and I really like how you describe Twitter. What a tool is, and how you use (or abuse) it are two different things.

I also resisted Twitter for a long time, but I&#039;m slowly coming round to the real benefits for using it in certain situations.
